I registered online on the 20th of Jan & paid the minimal fees required upon registration. I did this on the 20 January. On myunisa it said that my registration was still "in progress". After a month of waiting I phoned them to see what was going on. The lady said something about printing out my registration form & taking it to that department. She then said that it would all be sorted by the beginning of the next week. After two weeks of still waiting for my tab to be put up on myunisa and for me to be registered there was still nothing. So I phoned again & it took about 2 days for someone to pick up the phone. This person was very helpful and also said that he will make sure my registration form is sent to that department and that it will be "Priority". It has been a week since that and still nothing.
I am so angry as I have no idea when my first assignment is due & in 2 weeks time my next payment is due even though I am not even registered yet! I can't believe it is taking this long. I want to start my studies & know what I am doing before my first assignment.
I am trying to phone but it sounds like someone is picking up and then just putting the phone down!!!
Ridiculous!!
