Good afternoon, on the 21.02 .2013 after a emailed quote from van scaik bookstore and telephone call to say my company will be paying for my books and they must keep it aside. I came there to find out that the store dont accept cheque and was told that none of the store accept cheques. what made me further angry is that the person I dealt with told me in front of their manager that she told me via the telephonic conversation that van schaik bookstore dont accepts cheque and this making me look and feel like a . why would I come out of paarl to buy my books on campus? it wouldnt make sense. I was turned away and said they will still keep the books aside for me when bought with cash/card. I went to PAROW van schaik book store who gave me fab treatment and treated me with respect and they explained to me that that is a satelite store and jnr managers cant clear cheques but they can. Seems like the staff does not know the policies!! I got a e-mail today to ask if they must still keep my books and I e-mailed my response with no I got the books from your other branch with a cheque. still waiting for a response.
