In my first year I was given a proof of payment from the Kimberly office manager. This year when requesting one again I was told by the financial guy Melvin Chase that Unisa does not issue invoices only proof of payment, which to them is a statement. According to ENTSWANE@UNISA that has changed but it seems like the fatcats at the Unisa head office forgot to tell anyone else. Mr M Chase went as far as telling me that the document that I received was not official and the he refuses to issue a similar document. He basically accused to office manager of misconduct because she did issue one. What a proof of payment from Unisa looks like is a good question as I have asked for an example but was never sent one.
I have contacted the area manager, M Kokong, who in general has been helpful, but in this regard it was just an attitude of "MEH, not really my problem", which is to be honest the attitude of every single person from Unisa I have ever had contact with.
If you are considering to study after school DO NOT study as Unisa, go to a proper university that actually cares about delivering service to their student who are in fact customers.
