No feedback received on application submitted

As per the Northlink College website you have the option to submit your application via email, which I did last year July 2013. When I followed up with the Information centre, I was advised that the decision for acceptance is up to the Programme Manager (if that's what they are called). I waited and still nothing and when my son received his matric results I called and was advised that I could email it through as I did with my application. I again enquired as to why I did not receive any correspondance as to whether he was successfull or not and again I was told that the decision is made my this Programme Manager. I decided to go on Friday, 10th January to the Goodwood campus to get some answers only to find out that the programme is already FULL. I was then sent to the office of the Programme Manager and HOD but there was no one there. Waited a while and left. My experience has been dissapointing as I know people who applied in the week of the 08th and got placement in the programme that I applied for last year. Will not recommend this college easily...
