I am unable to finish my degree. Registrations closed for the year. I get:
"EXP TEST: * Final year- modules outstanding for major combination: ENN"
When I try to register again the site simply says "ERROR". When trying to report the error I get "ERROR SENDING ERROR E-MAIL". Pathetic.
Phones only ring. E-mails go ignored. They do not reply here. I've tried infoservices, applications, you name it. I was referred to Mr Baloyi by a lecturer, who referred me to Mrs Tshabalala, who then simply forwarded my mail to the same infoservices address that did not reply to begin with. Both then proceeded to ignore me.
I've examined the 2006 curriculum in operation at the time of my registration as well as the later 2011 one for my BA: Languages and Literature qualification and I comply with both in terms of the number of major subjects chosen. Now it appears that the curriculum changed again and that in my final year I am supposed to comply with a different curriculum than I registered for.
To any considering UNISA I say this: UNISA as a whole is a dysfunctional, incompetent mess, with a few good teachers swamped by inept lazy colleagues. Steer clear if you can, or you'll live to regret it.
