I had money debited from my FNB Account yesterday (30/09/2013), for the amount of R299.00. The SMS notification had Smventerpr 67937330li as Reference. I called FNB today and they gave me 0861 135 791 as Stratcol number. When I called Stratcol I was told that they debited money for SMV Enterprises. I do not know who this SMV Enterprises and how they got my account details.
Fortunately the lady at StartCol gave me SMV Enterpsises number (031) 825 5168 and the guy by the name of Meshack could not answer any of my questions and only asked for my name and number and promised that an Agent will call me to explain and clear everything. I am still waiting for that call.
What suprises me is how they got hold of my acount detail and why they're taking MY money from MY account without my permission. I have reversed the debit order with the Bank, but am curious as to who these people are??
