I received an sms from my bank to ask me whether I was aware of a debit order for the amount of R99, 00. I phoned my bank and told them that I was not aware of any such transaction. I asked them what the debit order was for and they told me that it was for a company named Stratcol and their number. That was all they could tell me. I stopped the debit order.
I phoned Stratcol and they were very rude and told me I was rude to them. They could not give me the company's name without my bank account number or a reference number. I told them that I stopped the debit order and they would not get any money from me. Her answer was: "Good for you." (sarcastically).
My only way to stop them from doing this again is to go to my bank manager and ask the bank to never allow Stratcol to debit any amount from my bank account ever again.
I shall give you the reference number for the description details from Stratcol where you asked for Policy/ Account / ID nu.
Take note that I am not nor will I ever be a client of StratCol. They did the transaction without my knowledge or permission. I have never even heard of this company before this ordeal.
