I would like to inform you of the unprofessional and very disappointing encounter that I had with the institute of business management.
I had come across the advert on the internet advertising for teller positions available for the bank. I had called the Durban branch as this is closest and in my area, to find out that I need to pay for the course and I would have guaranteed job placement.
I then went into the branch to speak to a consultant face to face to ensure that this is not a, they assured me that I would be given the job once I pass the written exam. I then paid the money due and began my nightmare!
The consultant told me that within 1 week of getting my results I would get job placement however this never happened. I was employed at the as a sales supervisor and I needed a more stable job as my wife and I are expecting our 2nd baby only to now be unemployed!!! I had completed my course in june and received my certificate for banking and financial management and have given the 10 copies of my cv as they requested. I live far and have travelled there everyday. I called them many of times and they said they will get back to me but nothing has ever happened
