Refund Request: Shocking Service

In the begining of the year, I had paid a lump sum of money into my student account for my subject fees for both 1st and 2nd semester. I completed my 1st semester studies however due to me changing career paths and jobs, i no longer wish to pursue a marketing degree. I have requested my money to be refunded to me that is left in my student account. This request ws done on the 01 August 2013. Still to date i have not recieved my refund. When i call in, i am told it can take 6 weeks for a refund to be processed via EFT but only 1 week if it is done via credit card??? This makes NO sense to me... why must i wait SO long to get MY money refunded to me via EFT but if i had a credit card i only had to wait 1 week???... i have supplied all relevant documents and yet 23 days later still nothing. I am VERY glad i am leaving this college.
