For the lasck of getting a response from anyone on the other side of the phone and in total DESPERATION, I am praying that this mail will reach someone at UNISA that actually cares.
On 24 July I paid R100 and got a student number and receipt number for my son who desperately needs to start his BTEC.
I waited 2 hours and then I started phoning UNISA as I knew there were only a few days left to register for this semester. Yes, it was late, but we did not have the money sooner.
I have a list of 12 numbers in front of me which I phones one after the other on the 24th, 25th, and again this morning.
By luck one of these numbers were answered this morning!!
To my utter dissapointment, by a gentleman telling me that registartion is closed, I must wait for December and try again, No, everyone answers their phone every time it rings so it is not true what I am saying, there is nothing he can do, I asked to speak with a senior person in an attempt to see if the sitauation can gets salvaged, to no avail.
I beg someone to phone me please please please.
No, I am not lying, I have been phoning NON STOP for 3 days and no-one answered.
