People any Legal advisors I would like to know what is my rights with this Stock Market College contract.
I took a loan of R20 000 which I bought some CDs from this people and they signed me up for 36 months contract which they say I have to pay every month to be listed on JSE to buy shares and stuff. I have never utilised this facility and only paid this contract for about 3 months and stopped because I could not afford it because I was also paying the R20 000 loan back.
Now today I got an sms stating that I was listed (Default) at the credit bureau for the contract which I have never ever utilised in my life, I told the lady that I'm no longer interested because I cannot afford it and it is a waste of money to my me since I'm not going to use it ever.
This is a ripp off really. If I cannot afford this contract why are they forcing me to pay them for something that I did not take from them. I never ever even logged into JSE to buy share shares through them or whatsoever. I wanted out of the contract its easy as that why do I have to pay them to go out of the contract which I will not even use in my lifetime
