I've emailed Damelin Randburg on the 19th June 2013 submitting a request for a copy of my bookkeeping diploma or at least a copy of my academic record. I was in contact with 2 people there and was informed in a very abrupt manner that it takes between 2-4 weeks to receive a copy thereof and I'd have to wait in line like everyone else. the gentleman I spoke to did not even give me a chance to explain the urgency of my request. Yesterday, 02 July I contacted Durban Head Office and was assured by a very friendly lady (after explaining the urgency) in the academics department that she would look into it and have someone give me a call back. I understand that the Durban branch is moving office, however no-one from Damelin has called back. I need a copy of my results URGENTLY. I am going to study at a university in France and the course starts on the 2nd September 2013. I have an appointment for my VISA with the Consulate on the 9th July & need to the copy of my results. It takes 2 weeks for processing of the visa and I am leaving SA on Aug 4th. I know I'm not the only person requiring their results, but would it hurt Damelin staff at all to go the extra mile in assisting me?
