WORST SERVICE IN FURNITURE SECTOR

I made a deposit for a 6month lay by on a couch in beginning Jan 2013.I was told the couch will only be made after I paid off the full amount in June. I was planning to move in 2014 so they said they will assist me by storing the furniture. There were no contracts in place. The only document was a lay by form with the proof of my deposit. 2 days later, I decided to cancel this lay by&buy the couch in 2014.The horrible service thereafter has made me reconsider ever doing business with this store. To this day I am yet to receive my refund. They have given me hassles for R1500!! They wanted to charge cancellation fees on the TOTAL amount due R10000, yet this wasnt stated on any documentation. They constantly made excuses of credit card fees, when my cheque card was used. The couch wasnt even made yet they behaved unprofessional& treated me horrible. When I went to the store with my card for a refund as they requested, they did a refund on their speedpoint, then tell me its done even though its not reflecting on my account. Now my bank says that it takes a further 7 working days to reflect on my account even though its the same bank& this should have been explained in the store. PATHETIC!!
