I would like to warn people about a very dodgy contractor Marius Stoltz from Marbleous Pools and Projects on he has taken me for over R 37000. Marbleous Pools and Projects quoted me on the 13th March 2013.
I paid the 50% deposit on the 13th March they started the job on the 22nd March. Once the shell was removed and the concrete was "packed" I paid as agreed a further 30%. Then nothing, no calls answered no email responded to I even went as far as going to his residence with no success.
I then got an inspector in who has confirmed the following:
1) The shell is not to spec it is only 150 thick it show be 200.
2) The shell is skew measurement from Top Right - Bottom Left 6.2 Top Left to Bottom Right 6.8?
3) The concrete work itself is pitted and not the correct consistency and has been patched..
4) The top is not level and has been patched which will just separate.
5) The hydrostatic valve should have been cast in the initial shell with a 600 - 600 well of crushed stone and reinforcing.
To cut a long story short this contractor has not been on site for two weeks and has promised to be there several times and not arrived.
So I have to start again with a proper contractor.
