About a year ago (May 2012), we shopped around for quotes to repair and tar our driveway. Tar King's price was reasonable, and on further investigation we found that they were active members of the appropriate organisations and had many glowing references and accolades. We chose them because of these factors and the most professional attitude of their man James.
Unforeseen circumstances meant that we were not able to go ahead with the job at that time.
We contacted them last month (March 2013) and asked if the quoted price was still valid. They said yes, and with a little 'arm-twisting' from my brother Ashley even offered us a further discount!
They began the job the next day with earnest. Bad weather caused delays and the job took somewhat longer than promised to be completed. James kept apologising for the delay - even though it was due to matters beyond his control.
The finished job was superb, and a couple of minor complaints were handled quickly with no fuss.
I would not hesitate in recommending this company to anybody.
