My name is Cecilia moeti, on the 7th of march 2013, my 72year old dad went to soshanguve industrial cashbuild to buy a skilsaw. On arrival he saw a pamphlet in store and the saw was on sale. He bought it but on arrival to the cashiers, he was told to pay the normal price irrespective of it being on sale. He then requested to speak to the manager but he still expected my dad to pay the normal price. Dad then decides to go to mabopane branch and same story happened but the manager agreed to give it to him at a sale price. I find it very disturbing for my father to have been tossed from 1 shop to the next due to the shop's fault in pricing. If the item was not on sale why display it for customers to see it. I also feel that my dad's consumer right has been violated because he was not supposed to pay for the saw due to the shop's pricing discrepancies but to get it free. I hope this matter will be attended to as soon as possible.
