I contacted Medallion for a quote on a 3X5 pool. Very friendly when Johan came out to do quote and I gave the go ahead. Johan assured me that he does not work like everybody else who needs payment before they work. In fact he said they do the work and then I pay as the work progress. This did not happen as his Admin ladies keep on phoning me for payments. Sometimes even before they started work they would call to ask for payment after I would tremind them about the payment schedule agreed with Johan. I was told that the pool would have an circumference of 16m and I can have that in any shape only to find out later that the quote is actually for the hole size. That means that the pool is smaller than the agreed. Apparently all pool builders quote on hole size and not final pool size according to Johan. I asked for extra paving and was quoted more then double what the actual square meter size was. When I queried it, they reduced the size and said that they have gone according to my sizing. Well, I only said that is what it looks like please measure for me. Had to beg for handover after water turned green (All money was paid at this stage). Lawn full of stones, workplace left durty.
