I bought a Ryobi petrol chainsaw from Builders Warehouse, 20 June 2012 on the box it says it has a 2 year guarantee. When i took the chainsaw back to Builders for repairs on 6 August 2013 they want to charge me R1200 for the repairs and i bought the chainsaw for R999. How can i pay more for the repairs than what i bought the chainsaw for? There service is really pathetic as they now say the chainsaw has a 1 year guarantee and a 1 year repair guarantee. Then why doesn't it state so on the box where it says 2 year guarantee. They have done absolutely nothing to resolve my problem, i am very upset with there customer service. They have been giving me the run around regarding this case ever since. I have been to them again after this and still no help. Why won't they repair the chainsaw if they are stating the 2nd year is your repair guarantee but won't repair it???
