I've logged a claim at the start of the lockdown for a geyser that burst. 2 weeks after the claim they finally got round to putting in a new geyser. When a worker came to fix my ceiling he saw that some of the roof structure close to the geyser had loads of water exposed to it. Am assessment was done via Whatsapp by one of the company assessors and I had a company come out to do a assessment. I've been up on the phone for 4 weeks now to get a result. The end result is that they are going with the person who has not been put to my place to chexk how in the hell a piece of wood would be fed into a tight roof. For the problem to be resolved I need to now pay out of my pocket for the roof to be lifted cos the company sitting at home does not believe a registered company and obviously has no intention of putting a client's needs into consideration.
