Was appointed by Outsurance. Two staff members arrived climbed into roof with headlamp only no tools. Climber out said geyser has burst. I know that is why they were called. Did not check with mains was switched off nor did they check if Inlet valve was closed properly. Said lots of water in roof but cannot see properly as do not have proper lights. As they were leaving the premises said I must check the Inlet valve as they do not hint that it is closed I said that I had closed as far as I could they said oh it must be closed and drove off. Water is still pouring into the geyser and flooding the ceiling boards I had the hot water taps open to drain the geyser and asked how long the water would continue to run they said until it was empty. As a result a second plumber has had to be called to isolate the geyser and try to stop the flooding
