I went to Builders Depot, Paarl Saturday 25 Jan2014 to order a garage door and cement pavers that were on Promotion. There were no stock and the salesman said they will get it from their Head office. The following Monday i called and he said he is struggling to get hold of the supplier for the cement paver and also informed me the pavers are ordered directly from the supplier and is per maximum 4000 units. Since i wanted 1000units i will pay extra transport. I needed to get the exact amount to see if its still worthwhile.By Wednesday i still waited and calle dthe Call Centre, since th salesman from Builders depot said when he called the Tuesday the people he spoke to, went home and they still couldnt give the name of the supplier or the amount for the transport. Nokuthula, frm Call centre said she will try and get hold of the supplier. She called back said it took about 2 hours to try and find out, but she has the information and it wil be forwarded to me.
I got the quote R1270.78/1000 pavers and R2248.55/100 for delivery. This is from Kuils River to Wellington, not even 50km away. I want to know, why advertise deals like this. And turnaround times are insane.
