In March 2013 I met with Jason to discuss alterations. He went through the plans&got back to me via an email with a quote. We then met&discussed what was quoted, which was very vague. During that discussion he told me that the job would take 3.5-4 mths. The job started off well with much work getting done. There were a few hitches, but these seemed to get sorted. Slowly these grew until around June, when it was clear that we were never going to be finished by deadline, construction slowed to a snails pace. During this time we had stupidly paid most of the money as progress payments (I found out in Jan2014 that one of my neighbours started using him for a job around that time-this job was also left unfinished) After countless missed deadlines, a scullery that leaked&ruined the new units, I had set a list for completion by Dec15. The reply I got was that I had to pay even more money or the job couldn't get done by the deadline that he had set. I then replied saying that no more money would be paid until completion and that if he wasn't happy he should leave. The next day he cleared site&told me it was my wish! 9 months after starting&I still don't have what I paid but that's my wish!
