We called drain surgeon last year to come and look at our pump in our septic tank to which they did and told us we needed a new pump as the old one had burnt out. At a cost of R6000 they replaced the pump with exactly the same model and size. However now, exactly one year later the pump has burnt out again, to be told that the warranty expired on the 29th June. We are now needing another pump at a cost of R6000. Firstly, we are being ripped off as they placed a pump into our system which was inadequate, the complaint comes in when I called them yesterday and to my utter disgust was treated in a way that I have never experienced in my life, Johan, the so called electrical manager was completely unprofessional and condescending, I was appauled at his disrespect to me, as the customer, quite frankly, not offering any help or assistance. His attitude was sorry for you, but I have not really got any time to listen to your complaint. I urge anyone wanting to use Drain Surgeon, to think twice before using them, unprofessional is actually an understatement. Today, my husband found the box that the pump came in and it says on the box, a 2 year warranty.
