The chain drive from the motor to the garage door snapped damaging my car in the process as the chain fell. Closer inspection revealed that the masterlink had been installed backwards, this is unacceptably poor workmanship. I phoned and spoke to the manager and he said sorry, he is unable to help nor accept responsibility as I was unable to tell him when the unit was last serviced. I am a tennant amd do not know when the owner last serviced the unit. NO AMOUNT OF SERVICING WILL CURE POOR WORKMANSHIP! This link was going to fail it was just a matter if when. To try to get this through to the manager was like trying to explain Einstein's theory of relativity to a 2 year old. Please put competant poeple in managerial positions!!
