Great initial service, Terrible follow up

We contacted this company to install American Shutters. The service initially was excellent and the man who installed the blinds- William, was great.

However many months later a few of the blinds weren't functioning as efficiently as they should. I contacted William and he told me to contact the secretary of this company, I initially spoke to a very friendly your girl who booked a day for guys to come fix the blinds, availability was three weeks after the time I spoke to her.

The day arrived where they were supposed to come, no one arrived. I phoned the company and then spoke to a very rude, obnoxious, horrible afrikaans woman. She said that they tried contacting me (which is NOT true) and they not going to waste their money on transport to come to the house which is in JHB (they are based in PTA). I made it clear that my domestic worker will be there on the day of the appointment.

She said the only next appointment can be made end of Feb. All in all her attitude and her lack of help was embarassing for this company, I will never use this company because of her. I then contacted William to ask for his help, and I have not heard anything since...

Bad management, poor follow up!
