Brian from brian's boundary walls very kindly offered to help with a previous building disaster and said he would give me contacts to people to get the job finished and I must just pay his petrol money. Then he turns around and says he will take over the previous contract and get the work done for the original quote that way he can make some money and I don't have to site manage myself. Great, except he then wanted to maximise his profit so got in people to lay my parquet floors (that cost me almost R30000) who didn't know what they were doing. The floor is completely messed up and has to now be redone. Plus the sealant and stain which cost me over R 5000 has to be sanded off and redone. Brian refuses to take any responsibility and has walked off the job rather than correcting his mistake. An offer to help has now ended up costing me money. Thanks Brian!
