I purchased a house from plan from New Naiton Developments in Heron Hill Estate, Pretoria East in Sept '12. I wanted the house bigger than the actual plan and we agreed on amendmends to the plans which I would have paid for cash.
I was requested by the developer to deposit 25% of the total value of extensions into the their bank account which I did. The amount paid by myself in Dec '12 amounted to R37, 125 but due to financial constraints the developer was unable to start with the building of my house. Since then the sale agreement was cancelled by myself and New Nation Developments agreed to refund my deposit plus interest at prime interest rate. To date I have not yet received my deposit back. The total amount to be refunded is R40, 280 (incl interest)
