Bad Service and bad attitude

We contacted Quinten (The Cornice Maker) for a quote on new skirtings for the kitchen/living area and cornices for the bathrooms. These were installed within a few days. Cornices for one bathroom were cut, we would install it later.
The nails in the skirtings (light meranti wood) were covered with very dark woodfiller. We phoned Quinten and asked if Mahogony varnish would cover this. He said'yes'. He suggested that we try a darker varnish colour. Three layers of varnish later, woodfiller was still visible. One piece of skirting was then replaced on our request. But nothing was done to repair the other skirtings. My wife also asked them to install the cornices since we were unable to do it. Two weeks passed, no installation of cornices!
Quinten had lots of excuses why the job was not completed (workload etc.) We had to wait until he had time to fit us into his schedule. During my last phone call he got very personnal asking if I am married, if I talk to my wife. He said we were a burden and he wanted us out of his life. Our money meant nothing to him. He would rip out the skirtings and return our money! He has an arrogant attitude, no respect for clients and communicates poorly.
