We met with Paul (27824508905) because we wanted a pool built at our new house. He came through and did the measurements and gave us a comprehensive quote. He advised in order to be able to procure the material we would have to pay 80% deposit. We then paid him the full amount of the pool so that everything would run smoothly.
Little did we know that this would be the breaking point of this business relationship. When the house was done and we contacted him to come in and install the pool, he started ducking and diving. Getting a hold of him became a pure mission. Eventually when we got a hold of him, it took him three weeks to come in to install the pool. He put in the pool, but was yet to connect the pump and also do the electrical work and paving. It's been almost three weeks again and he now doesn't answer the phone or our messages.
I tried to call him from work today and he initially answered the phone, not knowing it was me. When he heard my voice he hung up the phone. When I called back he didn't't answer the phone at all.
I am now living with a dug up incomplete back yard and a service provider that refuses to complete a job he has been paid for.
