My husband and I met Jan at the Garden & Home show in Durban this year. We liked his attitude and general know-how of kitchens. Impressed by his knowledge, we decided we wanted Southern Kitchens to install a kitchen in our new home. After i met with Jan at the factory/showroom at the beginning of July, i was told to expect a quote in a week or two. 3 weeks later and no quote, i decided to give Jan a call to see what the story was. After being told that they were soooo busy with orders from the show, i was told to wait another week or two. Eventually i did get a design, to which was so poorly executed, it failed to even include the dishwasher (which was on the list i gave him). I replied to the mail with some changes and gave more specifics and pics. I got no mail in return to even say that it had been received and they were working on it. We are now at the end of August and eventually i phoned Jan again to see what was going on. Right off the bat i was told how he was dreading my call! Jan - tip for you... if you are in the sales/service industry you may want to COMMUNICATE with clients. Not leave them hanging! I will never use Southern Kitchens nor recommend them! Good luck to thm
