We purchased all our building materials at Magnum Sand & Stone approx 2 weeks ago. This included 4000 stock bricks (as per my builders list) and the next week 4 pallets of bricks were delivered which looked in order. My mother in law who was home at the time signed the POD.
My builder asked for another 4 pallets of bricks this week which we found strange, and on calling Magnum Sand & Stone, we were told that there are only 500 stock bricks in a pallet - and not 1 000. This meant they only delivered 2000 bricks. We were not aware of this and trusted that the correct amount of bricks were delivered.
Many calls to Kyle, and Marius explaining the situation, and they now refuse to supply us with the remaining 2000 bricks saying they have a signed POD for 4000 bricks. We don't even have space in front of our house for 8 pallets of bricks, and have even told them they can count the bricks that have already been used.
Very disappointing service from such a big company. This makes a huge difference to our budget. If you are in need of building materials, steer clear of this company please.
