I booked to have my curtains hung three days in advance. They were due to arrive at 9.30am, by 10am no one was here so I called them and they didn't know why so said they would call me back. They did and said that the installer had not arrived at work and that he would phone me in the next hour to let me know. I asked for it to be sorted out urgently as I had arranged to be at home at 9.30am and couldn't wait all day. About 1 min after that phone call I received an sms saying 'Good morning, Elisabeth said that she is sorry to inform you that we can't do your installation due to our staff issues incurred I am very sorry'
I find that unacceptable as I am now in an awkward position looking for someone to urgently hang my curtains before my guests arrive.
I wonder if I hadn't phoned if they would have let me know they weren't coming?!
