Hi used Dial A contractor to source a contractor to erect a small fence at the front of my yard to keep the dogs out of the driveway and as such stop them from getting out the yard.
Dial A Contractor arranged for 3 companies to quote and I chose the cheapest quote. I had informed the contractor that I didn't need a palisade fence, but something more like pool fencing. In the end they finished the fence and made it out of roughly, poorly cut chicken fencing and with a skew gate that couldn't even be latched shut (I had to jimmy it with a screwdriver).
Several attempts to get the contractor himself to correct it were met with no luck. I then involved Dial A Contractor as their website lists "dispute resolution" as one of their services. Despite an initial positive response I am still trying to get this sorted out and it has been over a month now.
It's starting to drive me crazy, the workmanship is so poor I could have done it better myself. The contractor says he is a builder, I wouldn't trust him to build a braai. And Dial A Contractor themselves are not holding their end of the bargain.
