We bought a solar geyser from Solar Geyser 4 You and was installed in January 31, 2013. Anton Mayburg told us that the Eskom rebate takes between 2 to 3 week to be approved, after which the monthly instalments will go down as the amount financed will also be reduced. After 1 month the rebate was still not in place. I called their office and spoke to Ren? Coetzee (012 345 1849) [Email Removed] who blamed Eskom for the delay. Everytime I call she will blame Eskom. Now is 4 months and the rebate is still not in place. I called Eskom directly and the confirmed that the process takes up to 3 weeks. The adviced me to get the exact date when the application was sent to them. I asked Ren? and all she said was February 2013, that can be any day maybe the 28th. I asked her for the excact date on the 29th May. Till now she has not responded to my email. This morning I called and she told me that she still waiting for that information from her head office. I think they are doing this to benefit from the higher instalments because once the rebate kicks in the instalment are gonna go down. What a lekker way of making money.
