I had my solar geyser installed about 2 years ago. On Saturday the thermostat and TP valve had gone faulty. Today I am told that these parts do not fall under the 5 year warranty of the geyser itself. Seriously? One would expect that these parts have a longer warranty on them. just before I had this solar geyser installed I had a brand new geyser installed as the previous one had gone faulty but that one was installed for longer than 10 years. You mean to tell me that the thermostat on the old geyser was of a better quality than a supposedly new geyser? I might not be a plumber or a handyman but please. Do not tell me that these parts go faulty within two years of installation, I am not talking about manufacturing. So now I am sitting without warm water and no-one wants to listen as they are just out for a fast buck and thinking what the heck it is just woman what do they know?
