On 15 January 2013 I booked in my Asus nexus 7 Tablet for repairs @ LetMeRepair, Cape Town. This unit is still under warranty as i only bought it on 1 November 2012. I explained to the girl at booking in what the problem with the unit is (will not charge while turned on and will not connect to any PC). After I booked the unit in I asked how long will the repair take. She assured me that the unit will be fixed within 7 to 14 working days.
Today, 19 February 2013, I phoned them again, after phoning them numerous times before, and still no eta on when the unit will be fixed. I always get the same response from them, that they will phone me back and this never happens.
I even phoned Asus South Africa to explain my disappointment with their service partner, but with no luck there as well. Perhaps Asus should consider getting another company to do their RMA.
