I have requested online support from dell with regard to a faulty hard drive (about to crash) and have received no response for over 2 weeks now. I then phoned the dell south african service number and was spoken to by an international operator who was extremely helpful and logged my complaint whereafter he transferred me to the South African service centre who leave you on hold for up to 30min whereafter I put the phone down.
Bottom line, my laptop is still under warranty but it appears to be impossible to talk to anyone who can actually do something about it. The last time I had an issue with my laptop it took a e-mail to the directors and CEO of dell international to actually finally get a response from dell SA and eventually my laptop was repaired.
