Our company had a break-in on 24/01/2014, where my PC was with all my work including Pastel.
I then reinstalled my Pastel Partner and registered the package without any problems. When I tried to restore my backups, all of a sudden, my version and backups are different versions so I could not open the companies.
I do not have Pastel support cover so on phoning the "call centre" you cannot speak anyone because I have no cover - "Your cover has expired, please hold for sales" was the response I got and with this the call was then cut off. Phoning again for the 4th time, I spoke finally to a human, who put me through to sales. I explained the situation I was in and if someone could help me now I was prepared to pay for the service. There is no way anyone would assist me because I don't have Pastel's precious cover. I understand they have a business to run but so do we and no fault of mine, except for not buying cover, I would not have been in this situation. They don't give a if you don't have cover - really what happened to customer service? I will purchase Pastel cover but until then I can not get on and do my work - Thanks for nothing!!!
