I noticed that a "content charge" was included on my latest monthly MTN invoice.
I enquired with the call centre of MTN and they indicated that the charge was in respect of a company called "Victorious Technologies". I did not accept any offers for subscriptions, nor received any notification of this being loaded on my cellphone account, and MTN could not provide any such proof.
I was given a code to cancel content subscriptions on my account by MTN, this "subscription" being the only one - which appears to have been successful, but I will only know for sure when I check my account over the next few days.
Further, I have been told that the subscription has been cancelled and I will be refunded by "Victorious Technologies", with no questioning - we shall see if this does actually happen.
