Factory vin plate I own an opel super boss witch was in an accident and the vin tag witch fits on the front of the light panel was defaced due to the accident so I inc-cured about replacing my vin plate in nov2012 and the parts sale person assured me that I can get it and I'll just have to get the proper paper work and get police clearance witch I did. I again phone the parts department to veryfied the the paper work required was correct now when I had all the paper work correct went to the parts department and was told that the factory replied to the request of the vin plate after months that they have stopped the issue of vin plate in feb2013 with no good valid reason or bulletin stating the reasons why. And iv been waist my time & money going to williams hunt. Making sure about the part I required.now the tell that they can't get me a vin plate after all my efforts and time spent but I think it cause I have an old classic car.if the same thing happened to a new car they should be able to supply the customer with a new vin plate after the customer has followed procedure as I did and what I waS told do now its like I'm waisting there time by following up on this matter Back
