I bought a car from McCarthy Audi Wonderboom on 14 November 2012. I took delivery of the car and after a week took it back as there was a gurggling noise on the engine after you have switched it off. They took the car for a week working on the noise, only to return the car still not fixed. They then took the car for the whole month of December fixing the car but when the car returned in mid- January the noise started again. Eventually Paul, the then dealership manager told me that maybe that is how the car was. He then connected me with Saki at Audi Church street, where he had the car for a week and then decided to get Audi SA to write us a letter to say that they know about the noise and are working on getting a solution for it. The letter was signed by Twane van Huyssteenn, a specialist in the office of the MD. I eventually started to engage with Twane to check the progress in getting the solution for the noise but to my surprise she told me she only wrote what the dealer principal had asked her to write in the letter to me. I have taken the car to Audi Menlyn and they could not fix the car. It has now been 6 months and ther is no solution whilst I pay the bank.
