At the beginning of March, after driving my car home, the next day it wouldnt start. I then calledAA and upon hearing a knock on the engine towed my car to Durban South. Durban south came back with a finding that i had changed my gear from a high to a low gear while driving at a high speed.2weeks later they came back with the findings that the pistons had been shot n about a week and a half ago, it was that my conrods had been bent by water having gone in the engine from outside interference. My car fairly new under warranty n toyota inform us after almost 2 months having my car that warranty wouldnt pay. My car had previously been at Durban South2months prior for a month having my manifold replaced. 1stly i cant understand how they take almost 2months to report the diagnosis. 2ndly they have been very unhelpful, as i wish to take this matter further n i asked for a detailed description of what is outside interference, wanting the telephonic records n the reason why they took so long. Yet i have had no feedback from them. I also cant understand how they changed their story so many times, they also had said that while it was raining i should have pulled over n waited 4it to subside
