My husband has been trying to acquire a VW Polo Vivo from one of your dealers & it is now more than a week later & the car is still not in our possession. The finance was approved & they are aware of this but they're stalling because we're not being financed through them. Every time he calls the sales man to follow up, he keeps saying he will get back to him because the car needs to be listed as stock or something like that. In the past week we purchased a VW Golf GTI from a BMW dealer, service was 10/10 even though we were not buying their brand. This is how VW treats us when we're buying their own brand from their own dealer? I would like to request that this is attended to so I can have the car in my possession asap.
The dealer in question is Strijdom Park, the sales man's name is Marlon & the dealer principle is Brent. I cannot believe the amount of talk time we have wasted following up, even the dealer principle has stories. For starters, if a car already has a buyer, I refuse to believe that your head office will make someone wait in the queue for more than 10 days. This is unacceptable, this has left a sour taste in our mouth as we still sit without a car.
