Sunday evening the 21st of April 2013, while shopping for some goods we had noticed a customer having a disagreement at the check out, we all tried to ignore it as the manager on duty had arrived and we thought that the problem would be resolved. To our dismay the manager said to the customer well if thats your attitude we cant help you. The customer merely wanted to state why he was upset and the male manager said to him the above. My mother and i stepped in and first tried to calm the male custmer as he was furious and started making threats. The manager on duty punched a code in and went behind the doors and ignored the situation. The male customer calmed down and we asked one of the cashiers to assist him with his purchase of electricity, as they were ignoring him. They then helped him he said thank you and left. My complaint is why ignore the customer even if they are rude? This customer was upset beacuse he was ignored and disrespected by staff and the manager. A simple solution would have been to speak to him calm him dwn and let him make a PURCHASE. In RETAIL the customer is always right. Customer care is KEY.
