I went into the shop to bring back a faulty TV set. This was after a lengthy telephone discussion where I was told it's either the store's way or the highway by the service manager. On arrival, I asked for a senior manager who happened to have been standing behind me, by the name of Saloshni Ramdial. I have never in my whole life as a customer come across a ruder, imperious, self-absorbed, unwilling to assist so-called manager. Retail is about customer service, Saloshni is the epitome of 'Worst customer service' you will ever experience. How did such a rude, incompetent and deceitful person end up in a customer interaction position? This woman should be hidden away in the farthest office far away from customers. Her attitude, arrogance, condescending and "don't give a about your problem" approach left me in complete shock. She went on to tell me and another upset customer that we are liars. She would not take responsibility for the store's gross misrepresentations regarding their extended waranty and after sales service. She stood there mightily and literally told us that we are nothing to the huge beast called HiFi corporation. Unbelievable!
