URGENT VEHICLE RECALL IGNORED BY NISSAN SA

A world wide media release reported a "recall" for remedy of an important safety fault on certain Nissan
models including the Almera, of which I own two, that would seem to be included in the recall.

As the registered owner I have not received any communication from Nissan.
An enquiry to Nissan SA elicited a response from Ayamda Sithole. She advised that they were still investigating and would report within 30 days after establishing the affected vehicles!!!

I cannot trace any reports on this recall on the Nissan website.

The reported fault is life threatening, a faulty air bag, yet Nissan attach no urgency to remedy.

This an appalling response from Nissan.
