To whom this may concern,
On the 21st of March 2013 my vehicle's (FIAT BRAVO) clutch broke down on our way to Tzaneen. My vehicle was taken to the nearest Fiat Dealer which was in Polokwane. Up until know I have been dealing with Mariska who has been assisting me with the repair of my vehicle. To date I have not received confirmation that I my vehicle will in fact be ready for pick up this weekend. I am not blaming Mariska in any way. Fiat informed Mariska that the part is not in South Africa which is needed in my vehicle. This also happened last year in May when my vehicle also needed a repair, however the fuel harness was apparently also not in the country as "it usually is not a part that breaks". Do clutches also fall into this category? My vehicle has been with Fiat Polokwane for 4 WEEKS now due to this ignorance, yet the bill will probably remain unchanged even if I did suffer damages due to their negligence.
If anyone is considering purchasing a Fiat, kindly rethink this as Fiat South Africa does not keep parts and you will probably wait the same amount of time for a clutch as I did.
Yours Sincerely,
Daniel Berry
