My Polovivo was taken in for service at CarServiceCity Midrand in Dec 2012 as it was losing power and needed a service. After various stories and quotes ranging from R14K to R48K the quote eventually came out at R37K of which the insurance would pay R31K.I gave the go ahead to them on the 6th Feb. I was told by the manager the car would be ready on the 15th, on the 15th it was extended to the 20th however as he had to me once I gave him till the22/2, once again it was not ready more excuses. Some excuses were so far fetched I could not believe them;ie a tool was required to seal the engine and there wasn't one in RSA (tell me that in SA, VW has never had a VW PoloVivo engine replacement) In March I was informed that there would be an additional cost of R2.6k I approved the work but requested a quote which I never received until I collected the car on the 4/4.I was openly called arrogant by the manager (who's the customer whohas no transport) and told to take my car if I wanted even though it was not repaired. I complained to H/O but they never came back to me nor did the owner speak to me. Oncollecting vehicle I requested if Icould give a pd chq for2.5K asit had been added that day: NO
