Why do we put contact numbers?

Since the Post office had been striking our company has been using Fedex/Supaswift to deliver weekly parcels. However, it has become a pain because there seems to be an incompetence in certain areas, where it is stated that businesses are closed at between 11am and 5pm. However, because these are DVD shops they will definitely be open. But the courier does not make use of the contact numbers we provide and some times the clients affected get their stock two weeks later. I am not sure what means to use now while I wait for Witspos to get their backlog sorted. Lots of money is lost in this process.
