Took my car in with no fault, got it back with one

1. On the previous three occasions when I got my wife's vehicle back after service the right back door did not want to open
2. As you correctly pointed out - nobody could see this on the job card, as it was not on the job card. That is exactly my point - if it had the issue before I brought the car in surely I would have told you and it would be on the job card.
3. Every time what happened - I phoned in, brought the car in an they fixed it without charging me as it was VW's fault. The service manager's words were - it sometimes happens in the car wash they way the work with the doors.
4. With the last service this happened again, I phoned in and the service manager (I cannot recall the name but think it was Andrew) said I must just bring it in. The timing was not convenient and I did not get around to doing it. I was still able to open the door from the inside, so we could live with it until a convenient time.
5. Now I brought my car in to have this fixed and all of a sudden "nobody can recollect" the facts. In addition to that - now that they have looked at it, I cannot even open the door even from the inside anymore.
6. My expectation is that my wife's car get fixed at not cost
